Our Values
Compassion and Empowerment
We see every woman and child as individuals with unique stories, strengths and needs. Through empathy and understanding, we provide resources that help families make empowered choices and build independent lives.
The Baby Bonus Program is our moonshot challenge to address child poverty, starting with newborn babies in San Mateo County.
In August 2023, we hosted the San Mateo Rising: Ending Child Poverty Summit, featuring insights from Dr. Matthew Desmond and other experts. This gathering marked the beginning of our community-driven approach to ending child poverty.
In September of 2024, we began an ongoing diaper drive initiative engaging a team of local high school student volunteers.
